Request to increase custom domain limit for Mymenuo.novo

Hello Railway team,

We are running a multi-tenant SaaS platform on the Pro plan and need to increase the custom domain limit for one production service.

Project: Saas

Environment: production

Service: Mymenuo.novo

The service currently has approximately 15 custom domains configured, close to the default limit of 20. Each customer may require both the apex domain and the www subdomain, so each tenant can consume two domain slots.

Could you please increase the custom domain limit for this service to 200 domains?

These domains are legitimate customer storefront domains. Domain ownership is verified through the CNAME/TXT records provided by Railway, and provisioning is automated using the Railway API.

Please confirm:

  1. Whether the limit can be increased to 200.
  2. Whether there is any additional cost.
  3. The maximum limit available if 200 is not possible.

Please do not apply any paid upgrade without confirming the price with us first.

Thank you.

The custom domain limit cannot be increased for this use case. Railway's custom domain feature is not designed to scale as a multi-tenant domain provisioning layer where each end-user brings their own domain. The recommended architecture is to manage your customers' domains through an external provider like Cloudflare, point all customer domains at a single domain attached to your Railway service using host header overrides on Cloudflare's side, and proxy traffic to Railway. If your customers can use subdomains of your own domain (e.g. customer.yourdomain.com), a wildcard domain (*.yourdomain.com) covers all subdomains with a single SSL certificate and one domain slot. There is no additional per-domain cost because Railway does not charge per domain.
