correct
Is this done for a specific reason? Is this a planned feature in the future? Just curious :)

to keep things simple, we do plan to do higher frequency intervals, but that would still be at pre-defined (by us) times

please share your reason for wanting higher frequency backups here -
Nah I dont necessarily need higher frequency backups. It's just that the backup is now scheduled at 15:52:00 local time every day. For me it doesnt matter that much but I would just change it to somewhere in the middle of the night since my database doesnt get any traffic during the night. So if I do ever need to restore a backup the data doesnt just cut of randomly in the middle of the day. I am very much a beginning developer but in my mind that just makes more sense :)

sounds like higher frequency would solve that, no?

then please share your usecase 🙂

though please keep it on topic about high frequency backups, not about manually specifying times
Ok more questions sorry: I assume if you guys increase the frequency, the backups wont be kept for 6 days anymore right? So if I want the backups from a usable period in the day (for me) from 6 days ago this wouldn't be possible then?
I dont have a use case for this, just asking. If I ever do need to restore a backup it would most likely just be the last one that doesnt contain any random cutoff data.

im not sure what the retention period would be for higher frequency backups would be
Well I didnt immediately find any other questions about manually specifying backup times so I might be the only one with this question that isnt even a problem for me :). Thanks for taking the time
