We need to get the full logs, we only see a small truncated part of the logs. We are supposed to be able to download logs with ctrl / cmd + k -> logs but those shortcuts never worked for me. The best would be that the logs can be exported to an external service like sentry, zapier, pabbly or make.

May I have permission to look at the logs for the linked service, and then look at what is downloaded via that shortcut?

Yes, no problem. But with the shortcurt I never get to download anything in my linux desktop

Aside from the resulting file being a maximum of 5000 log lines and including the timestamp and severity -- the downloaded file looks exactly like what I'm seeing in the dashboard.
The 5000 log lines, is that what you mean by truncated? Our API uses pagination to retrieve older logs for the dashboard, so 5000 log lines is about the max you can request in a single API call.
RE: Linux - When the file gets downloaded, is it completely empty? if it's anything more than an empty file, can you attach it?
RE: Export the logs - Do any of those services support log ingestion via an API? if so, you can use this sidecar service to ship your logs to them -

I've personally tested it with betterstack, axiom, and datadog.

No, hitting those keystrokes I get no action or download at all, so please tell me how to download them. Regarding the 5000 lines, if the log has more, I should be able to download all the 5000 line necessary files to cover the full log to have them managed by external services tile the ones I mentioned in the first post.

We aren't able to reproduce the keystrokes not doing anything, perhaps you have something blocking it locally?
Either way, the log download feature is for debugging only, if you need logs sent to sentry, zapier, pabbly or make, you should use their SDKs.

In order to be able to use their SDKs, we need an api to connect to, and railways doesn't provide one. We don't have a cmd key, how would it be the whole procedure to download the logs in a Linux desktop?

I'm sorry but I'm not sure how Railway's API comes into play when using the service's SDKs.

In order to use the template you posted yesterday, how do I enable the api key?
RAILWAY_API_KEY - Your Railway API key.
Project level keys do not work.

When I try to download the logs using ctrl + k, the download logs option is missing.
Also, the droplet to download logs (https://bookmarklets.up.railway.app/log-downloader/) stopped working. How can I download the logs in an easy way without having to depend on a third party service?

You need to open the desired deployment first.
The bookmarklet has been updated for .com.

When build fails, ctrl+ k doesn't allow me to download the build logs in order to give them to the programmer.
