That's an awesome feature, as it helps reduce the cost. Have read all about it via the docs: https://docs.railway.com/reference/app-sleeping
But still have one question: Assume I have a Python server, and I have turned it into a serverless deployement. It goes into sleep state after 10 minutes of inactivity. Whenever there would be inbound traffic again, does it re-deploys the dependencies? I guess no, because in my case, the delay is almost negligible. Can anyone confirm?

Added a bounty for this question 🙄
@Brody I guess this query/basic follow-up can very well be resolved without turning it into a bounty!!

Hey, by dependencies you mean your other services like databases and such?

And please, do not ping team members.

If you're asking if the build stage will happen again (dependencies installation and such) then no, Railway uses the active deployment (like a cache).
The reason I pinged Brody is because of a question that I asked in the #🎤|chit-chat channel, hoping that someone would reply there, as it was just a query about the tag. And when no one replied even after 15 hours, I DMed him to get an answer.
He replied there and told me to ask queries in the #✋|help channel so that others could also benefit. I confirmed whether all queries in the help channel are turned into bounties, to which he replied "No"
Right after that, I started this query, and to my surprise, it was turned into a bounty!! And that's why I pinged him because it's just a question to the railway team, about a particular calrification. There is no need to turn it into a bounty
Great. That's a great thing, making the serveless deployments more powerful

If I'm not mistaken, the bounty is automatic, so don't worry about it. It engages the community in helping you (the Railway team is too busy for these types of simple questions). Just do not ping them, it's in the rules #🛂|readme #5.
Thanks for clarifying that it's automatic. Btw, Brody told me this
The only thing that creates a bounty is an admin putting a bounty on a thread.

I may be wrong then but still, it engages the community on helping you so everything's good.
I am not sure about that, upto your internal sync about what's true and what's not!
Oh, just noticed that you are a contributor. If Brody (associated with the team) is saying that "an admin can start a bounty", then it's true ✅
Btw, Brody, the FREE tag is still showing up in my profile!!
I am not sure what was corrected (even though I just asked whether the TRAIL tag is still there or not). Earlier, the tag was TRIAL; nowadays, for all new members, it's FREE
I do not want to start a new bounty for this 🤣

I changed the tag in the database, but it seems like it was automatically upserted back to 'Free'.
Solution: Update to Hobby so that it says Hobby <:kekw:788259314607325204>
Brody, for this query, you have updated it to "Solved", may I know when I clicked on "Mark as solution" button?
Earlier, you mentioned that "It's up to OP to mark a message as the solution; there's nothing for me to do in these situations."
I guess if you can read this post and can see that someone did indeed answer my query, and you automatically marked this as the solution, then I am sure you can do the same to those that have the same behaviour 😙

That doesn't mean i cant do something 🙂

Do have a look, and do the needful that you did here 🙌
Any rule that I am missing, which shows differentiation between a trial user and a contributor 😅
