I've been frequently getting a notification of my service crashing.
On accessing the dashboard the service is indeed red and marked as crashed.
Attempting restart raises error: "Deployment must be redeployed".
Redeployment works fine.
BUT
all along when accessing by website it's actually still online.

Hmmm I have gone ahead and checked the service's health checks and restart policies to ensure they are configured correctly. And it seems that you do have a restart, but without knowing too much of your application, I don't know if it's a worker that crashed. If Railway sees any non-zero exit code even if there are multiple processes, it will report as crashed.
Additionally, reviewing the deployment logs and metrics on the Railway dashboard could provide insights into why the service is marked as crashed despite being online.
