The defualt region is supposed to be US-West region. I have also selected US-West region but my service is actually deployed in Netherland. I confirmed using ip info.

It is definitely not deployed on our Netherlands region.
You are hitting the IP address of our Netherlands Edge Proxy, not the IP of your service.

Additionally, while your domain works for now, you have set it up incorrectly, you need to use a CNAME instead of an A type otherwise your domain will break at some point in the future.

how do we tell our client the service is deployed in US not in netherlands as this is required for compliance, that our server is in US

Please see my last message, your service is most definitely deployed in the US as that is what you have selected.
