At 12:55am I received an email about my socket server going offline for 30 mins due to scheduled maintenance
The railway dashboard says it’s online but my app is not working. And in railway there are 0 logs which confirms an issue. I need this fixed ASAP

I do see logs. Stuff like this:

I had to restart that server to fix it. How come though? Will a manual restart always be needed after a maintenance event? I thought it would be restored as working as usual without my needed to interfere

Thank you for the report, and we're sorry for the downtime caused by the automatic redeploy. We will be looking into this and will follow up when we have more information.

We believe this was related to a deployment state drift causing traffic to be routed to an older inactive deployment. We're working on a new system that will resolve the root issue. Please let us know if you run into this again
