Service using wrong repo and deploying private repos in template issues

Hi,

I deploy using a template with private repos a few times a week, and I've been struggling with a few bugs the whole time:

  1. The selected branch for each service will always be wrong (it points to the repo, i dont even know how to describe it, but its not main)

  2. sometimes, even when a completely different repo is selected for a service, all services will insist on deploying from main from the same repo on all of them

if you want quick first party support you can use slack / email for pro/enterprise

well not ping but goes into a queue that is looked at by support on-call, aside from the odd engineer popping in here, I'm the only one that checks discord
