Service won't pick up the latest git commit

The service doesn't recognize the latest github commit, and manually triggering it through command palette still just redeploys the older commit. Same with disconnecting and reconnecting the repo linked.

Hey,

Can you share some information on why you think that is?

If it helps, This deploy from 30 minutes ago as of writing, was done with the commit sha 7b547fc810eff61c57de375511b83d2abcd82999 from the main branch.

Regards,
Brody

Hey brody, thanks for getting back so quick.

That is correct yes, although I had to manually delete the service and create it again to pick up the commit (which was indeed the latest at that time). I then pushed another commit which didn't get picked up, similar to all my previous attempts.
I do have another project where the commits are being picked up automatically on git push, so I'm not sure what I did differently here. Do you have any pointers for where to look to sus out the problem? I looked through the project settings, and both services' settings in this project, but didn't notice anything different (The issue is on both services in this project if that helps).

I did create this project as a blank project and then add in the services (I think I did the same for my other project that works fine, but can't say for sure). I'm not too sure what else I can try. Let me know if you have any angles I can try to troubleshoot

The only thing I can think of is that maybe you selected the wrong branch when selecting your source repo, or you were pushing to the wrong branch, but since you deleted the original service there really isn't anything I can tell you about it or look into since we hard delete services when the user deletes them.

If you see this again, open a new help thread and please don't delete the service, we would be happy to comp you for leaving the service running until we are able to look into it.

But going to mark this as solved for now.
