Windows Smart App Control blocking the railway.exe, and now Claude is not able to write commands on the CLI. What should I do? Claude is suggesting to create a script and run over HTTP, but it will require this solution now for every project, which is not a good solution.

Since Smart App Control is blocking the standalone executable, you can install the Railway CLI through npm or Scoop instead, both of which work on Windows and sidestep the blocked binary entirely. All supported installation methods are listed in our CLI docs.

npm and Scoop deliver the exact same blocked binary — the install method isn't the problem

You're right that the underlying binary is the same. On Windows, the supported path is to run the CLI inside WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux), which bypasses Smart App Control entirely since the CLI runs as a native Linux binary in the WSL environment.
