I’m on Railway Pro and outbound SMTP is still timing out after redeploy.

Project: pacific-ambition

Service: @workspace/api-server

App URL: https://workspaceapi-server-production-85e2.up.railway.app

SMTP host: smtp.gmail.com

Ports tested: 587 and 465

Provider: Google Workspace / Gmail SMTP

What we tested:

  • Redeployed after upgrading to Pro
  • Forced Node/Nodemailer SMTP to IPv4
  • 587 still times out
  • 465 still times out
  • Multiple mailboxes timeout, so it is not one mailbox credential issue

Can Railway confirm outbound SMTP egress is enabled for this project/service on ports 587 and 465?

Your workspace is on an active Pro plan, so outbound SMTP is enabled. To narrow this down, please SSH into the service using the Railway CLI and run the port-reachability test from our SMTP debugging guide, then share the output here.
