Something is off with cname settings

I've created dozens of railway web projects so I'm very familiar with how CNAME dns settings work.

Today I'm trying to add a domain name www.airopilot.ai so I'm expecting "www" in the cname and TXT. yet it seems stuck on showing "@" and a root TXT.

www.airopilot.ai

CNAME: @ - ao2buhis.up.railway.app

TXT: _railway-verify - railway-verify=0034194877136c49f0b18c1113xxxxx

and it should be:

CNAME: www - ao2buhis.up.railway.app

TXT: _railway-verify.www - railway-verify=0034194877136c49f0b18c1113xxxxx

Unless something changed on railway and now every www is treated as a root domain this makes no sense to me.

Have you tried removing and re-adding the domain? (Feels like a one-off thing... I couldn't repro it)

at the time, I deleted the domain and try to re add it. Didn't work. Then I deleted the entire service and created a brand new one. It was still doing it.

I went to eat something, and when I came back the www domain was now showing correctly.

Not sure if it was auto corrected, if someone else corrected it, I have no idea.

But it is now ok...
