I cannot SSH into my running Railway service.

Project: trust-loans

Environment: production

Service: trust-loans-web

Region: Amsterdam

Error:

Permission denied (publickey,keyboard-interactive).

Railway API and CLI account access work. The service is running.

Checks completed:

  • The existing personal SSH key is registered.
  • Its public and private keys match and signing works.
  • A separate workspace key named trust-loans-workspace-repair was registered successfully.
  • Authentication still fails with both Windows OpenSSH and Git’s SSH client.
  • Verbose SSH output shows the server initially accepts the key, then rejects authentication.

Please investigate SSH authorization for this service. We need read-only runtime access to verify the database before deploying a Prisma migration.

Please do not reset the database or apply pending environment-variable changes.

A similar solved thread traced this to insufficient project permissions. Please check whether my account and workspace SSH key have the required runtime SSH permissions for this project.
