SSL Certificate Not Provisioning – Domain Showing “Not Secure”

Hello Railway Support,

I’m currently hosting my app on Railway and connected my custom domain:

However, the browser is showing “Not Secure” instead of HTTPS.

My developer confirmed that the application code is fine and that SSL should be handled by Railway. I have already verified the following:

• The domain DNS records are configured correctly

• The CNAME record is pointing to Railway

• The deployment is live and accessible

• HTTPS redirect logic is already implemented on the application side

Despite this, the SSL certificate does not appear to have been issued yet.

Could you please check if the SSL certificate provisioning for this domain is stuck or failed, and re-trigger the certificate generation if necessary?

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,

Dora

Have you tried accessing the site from an incognito browser? Your browser might be caching stale data.

I have the same issue. I have tried from an incognito browser, and I have worked with the AI over a few days to resolve this.

  • Domain: festivaleer.com
  • Service: festivaleer
  • Project ID: 9f6266a6-aa08-4b75-bf7b-09eef454ed59
  • Issue: Custom domain added to service domains, deployed multiple times, but certificate still shows *.up.railway.app instead of provisioning for the custom domain

They can investigate the certificate provisioning pipeline on their infrastructure.

We've re-triggered certificate issuance. Your app.crazyaddictiveapp.com is working with a valid certificate. The root domain crazyaddictiveapp.com needs a CNAME record pointing to Railway, not an A record. If your DNS provider doesn't support CNAME on root domains, consider using Cloudflare which supports CNAME flattening.

@regulator75 Your domain festivaleer.com is working with a valid certificate now.
