Tried creating a new service today, now im stuck on applying changes message that never resolves. My deployment seems to work fine through git

that's a known issue, unfortunately the team does not know a way to reproduce it yet.
if it happens again, try to change the environment variables of any service and then hit deploy again (sometimes it fixes, and if not you just gotta wait until it unblocks itself).
