Stuck with "Issuing TLS Certificate"

I was setting up a service with custom domain, and it works with all the subdomains except the apex domain.

For the subdomains, i have used a CNAME, but for the Apex domain i've used an Alias instead. The reason being is that Google DNS doesn't allow that. DNSSEC is already turned off.

Hello,

We do not support ALIAS records, you would need to be using a CNAME at the root, and for that you would need to use Cloudflare's nameservers.

Cloudflare has a guide for that here -

https://developers.cloudflare.com/dns/zone-setups/full-setup/setup/

Best,

Brody

Thanks! Tried that now and just waiting for the DNS changes to propagate.

Will update once this is resolved.

Thanks!
