I am a HOBBY subscriber, and I deployed the sub2api system using the sub2api template. This system requires the SMTP function to send verification emails to registered users. It worked fine elsewhere but fails to function properly on Railways, rendering this system nearly useless for its crucial registration feature! Don't tell me to use other APIs—SUB2API only has the SMTP email sending module

Outbound SMTP is disabled on the Hobby plan to prevent spam and abuse, and is only available on the Pro plan and above. Since sub2api requires SMTP for sending verification emails, upgrading to the Pro plan would enable SMTP access for your service. After upgrading, you'll need to redeploy the service for the change to take effect.

I don't understand the differences in character or other aspects between Hobby subscription users and Pro and above subscribe users, which would require you to treat them specifically?! Is it because they pay more, so you think he won't send spam and abuse?? Or are you intentionally setting this restriction just to force and deceive users into paying more to use the necessary features? Don't you feel ashamed and ashamed?

We understand the frustration. Outbound SMTP is disabled on Free, Trial, and Hobby plans because these tiers are heavily targeted by automated abuse, and SMTP is the primary vector for spam originating from cloud platforms. The Pro plan requirement is not about trust in individual users - it is an infrastructure-level control to protect our IP reputation so that email sent from our network actually reaches inboxes. Without it, all users (including Pro) would see their emails land in spam. On the Hobby plan, the supported alternative is using a transactional email service with an HTTPS API (such as Resend, SendGrid, Mailgun, or Postmark), as documented at docs.railway.com/networking/outbound-networking. If sub2api only supports SMTP and cannot be modified to use an HTTPS API, upgrading to the Pro plan ($20/mo) would unblock SMTP access.

Come on, you hypocritical scammer. You should really feel ashamed of your discriminatory policies! Do you have any data to support the claim that the free version, trial version, and interest version packages are highly susceptible to automated abuse attacks by disabling outbound SMTP functionality? Or do you acknowledge that as a professional PaaS platform, your system is extremely fragile and cannot guarantee the security of your own system and users?
Finally, tell me!
Why should I pay for other services that I don't need? Can you bear the price difference for me? Tell me how to refund money

The SMTP restriction is a platform-wide policy, not something we can waive for individual accounts. If you'd like to request a refund for your Hobby plan, you can do so at docs.railway.com/reference/pricing/refunds.
