Subject: Custom domain certificate not issuing after 20+ hours — DNS verified correct

Project: reliable-tenderness · Service: the-trail-golf · Domain: www.thetrailgolf.com

Added www.thetrailgolf.com (port 3000) Aug 1 ~11:30 AM ET; panel showed "waiting for DNS." After an hour I deleted and re-added the domain (~12:15 PM ET), received the new target new8mpfj.up.railway.app, and updated the CNAME at GoDaddy immediately. 20+ hours later the panel still says "waiting for DNS" and the domain is still served the *.up.railway.app wildcard.

DNS is verifiably correct and has been since minutes after the re-add:

Both authoritative nameservers (ns75/ns76.domaincontrol.com) return www.thetrailgolf.com → new8mpfj.up.railway.app

Google/Cloudflare/Quad9 resolvers all agree

No CAA records exist on the domain, so issuance isn't blocked

No conflicting A/AAAA records on the www host

Traffic reaches your edge (TLS handshake completes against the wildcard cert). Could you kick the verification/issuance job for this domain? App Store submission is blocked on the privacy-policy URL serving valid TLS.

The CNAME to new8mpfj.up.railway.app is propagated and correct, but the certificate is blocked because the ownership-verification TXT record is missing. Custom domains require both a CNAME record and a TXT record for verification. In your Railway dashboard, open the domain settings for www.thetrailgolf.com and you will see the required TXT record details - add that TXT record at GoDaddy with the host and value shown there. Once it propagates, verification will pass and the certificate will issue automatically. Reply here after adding it and we can confirm propagation.
