Subject: Custom domain SSL certificate not working
Service name: v27 Project: robust-renewal Environment: production
My custom domain www.trademycar.co.nz is not working. The CNAME record is correctly pointing to vp5ikzn2.up.railway.app, but when I visit the domain I get an SSL certificate error (net::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID).
The service is running fine on the Railway domain, but the SSL certificate hasn't been issued for the custom domain. Can you help get the certificate provisioned?

You need a TXT record on _railway-verify.www.trademycar.co.nz. If you're using the API to add the domain, you can find the content for it from the verificationToken property under status.

Domain is verified (green tick in Railway dashboard). TXT record _railway-verify.www.trademycar.co.nz is active and correct. CNAME is set. It's been 10+ hours. Certificate still not issued — getting net::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID.
This needs Railway support to investigate the backend certificate provisioning.

Can you share the screenshot where your CNAME and txt records are marked as green check indicating successful propagation

Wait upto 24 hours as railway can sometime take a few hours for domain verification
