Hello Railway Support Team,
I am writing to report a persistent issue with my PostgreSQL database connection in my project mandibulin (Project ID: 11f3e8b6-5904-4da0-9656-a73d3f0bb949).
The Issue:
My application (Node.js/TypeScript) and even a direct standalone script are unable to connect to the PostgreSQL database. The connection is being dropped immediately, returning the following error:
Error: read ECONNRESET (Code: ECONNRESET, errno: -4077).
Evidence of the problem:
Direct DB Connection Failure: I ran a minimal Node.js script using the pg library with my DATABASE_URL (postgresql://postgres:[email protected]:46630/railway). The script fails instantly with ECONNRESET.
Application Logs: My local server logs confirm the same error whenever a query is executed: Error: read ECONNRESET at pg-pool/index.js:45:11.
Deployment Failures: My recent deployments are failing with the message: Deploy failed: Failed to snapshot repository. Please try again in a few minutes. and Failed to build an image.
Status Page: I noticed your status page reports ongoing issues ("Degraded snapshot upload latency" and recovery efforts from the October 21 incident).
What I need:
Could you please confirm if the PostgreSQL database (Postgres service) is currently unavailable or if there is a network issue in the US West region preventing external connections?
I need to know if this is a known infrastructure issue on your end, as my code is compiling successfully locally but cannot connect to the database to run.
Thank you for your help.
Best regards,
Omar León Corona
