Error: "Bucket region undefined is invalid" on deployment attempt

I've already tried recreating the bucket, but the region still comes back as undefined

  1. Go to the strawberry-riff service settings in Railway
  2. Go to Variables and add a new variable manually (Key: AWS_REGION or whatever the code expects, value: auto or whatever value you chose when creating the bucket.)

Redeploy

This didn't exactly fix it but it lead me to finding the solution so you got it! Thank you so much for taking the time to respond and helping me sort this out. Much gratitude!! *the issue was that a bucket region had not been selected and therefore there was nowhere for the bucket to live. You suggesting that I insert the variables manually made me look closer at the whole system. Thank you for the help.
