My domain is managed by squarespace, and thus I moved it to cloudflare to for CNAME reasons. However, after configuring everything on cloudflare, Railway still shows waiting for DNS update while sometimes alternating with CloudFlare proxy detected.

Update: now it is just stuck on "Cloudflare proxy detected"

Sorry brody for re-opening the thread. My custom domain is ubcbeta.com. When I launch this website on my laptop, i am faced with DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN. I can attach screenshots if required. Thanks again!

Update: It doesn't show the tick mark as is required by the documentation, instead it shows a cloud like figure

A cloud icon is used when the domain is associated with Cloudflare, that is what you want to see.
The domain still works for me, so any issues you are experiencing is going to be a network issue on your side.
Try using Google's nameservers instead of your ISP provided nameservers.
