Sync PR environments into staging branch when merged?

Is there any recommended workflow to sync PR environments into staging branches when merged, or perhaps a way to manually do this without maintaining the PR environment? Sometimes I make changes in my PR that require a startup command or a new service, and recreating these changes on the staging branch is time-consuming.
