The Hobby plan allows 2 custom domains per service, and yes, an apex domain and its www subdomain count as two separate custom domains. Your two current domains (vardjobb.nu and www.vardjobb.nu) have filled that quota. This limit is per service and is documented on the custom domains page. We don't offer limit increases on the Hobby plan.

Before I make a decision about upgrading, I need clarification on one point:

Is there any supported way on the Hobby plan to run multiple domains for a multisite application without upgrading to Pro?

For example:

• multiple services in the same project
• multiple projects in the same workspace
• redirects or aliases
• any other supported configuration

Or is Pro required for any setup that needs more than 2 custom domains?

The 2 custom domain limit on Hobby is per service, so you can attach 2 custom domains to each service you create. If you split your multisite into separate services within the same project, each service gets its own quota of 2 custom domains, which would let you host more domains without upgrading to Pro.

Hi Railway bot, this does seem to be true, but is there a human-approved, official doc, anywhere on the Railway site, which confirms this? When I search, all I can see are conversations about this between users including bots. The obvious place to state this clearly would be: https://docs.railway.com/networking/public-networking#custom-domains Also, very simply, could I make customer suggestion, you edit your info message on the Settings tab here, which now says "You have hit the custom domain limit for your plan. Please upgrade to add more. " --> "You have hit the custom domain limit for this service in your plan, which is 2 domains per service. Please upgrade to add more." You might even lose customers if they think it is hard limit of 2 domains for the whole Hobby plan!
