I have a template, and I changed some settings of it yesterday, and whenever I tried to deploy this template, it kept using the old settings instead of the new one. I recorded my screen to show it.
I also noticed these days that sometimes when you save a new setting of a template, it does not actually save it. In the same template, I faced the situation, but I did not record or save anything. But at the moment, I was updating 2 templates, and one was updated, and the other was not.

I just tried to deploy it right now, and it deployed with the latest settings, so I would bet that the cause of this issue is something like cache, somehow it wasn't invalidated when I updated the template.
It's just what I can imagine now. When I reported, I imagined that could be it, but I think it's interesting to you to keep track of this kind of behaviour in the platform.
