The root domain has not been added as a custom domain to any of your services, which is why it does not resolve. You have subdomains configured and working, but the apex (root) domain itself needs to be added separately in your service's settings. Since it is a root domain, your DNS provider must support CNAME flattening or ALIAS/ANAME records for the apex. See adding a root domain for provider compatibility and setup steps.

Standard DNS does not allow a CNAME at the root/apex (@), so your DNS provider must support CNAME flattening or ALIAS/ANAME records for it to work. If yours does not, you have two options: switch to a provider that supports it (such as Cloudflare, by changing your nameservers), or use a www subdomain instead, which accepts a standard CNAME. The root domain docs list compatible providers and setup steps.
