The problem with activating skills in OpenClaw on the platform realway.com

Good afternoon,

I'm using your AI assistant (Mark) deployed on the platform. realway.com . We are faced with a technical problem: the new skills that we install in the workspace are not activated and are not available for use by the assistant.

What are we doing and what is happening:

We are successfully installing the skill through the clawhub install, for example, google calendar. The command completes successfully, and the skill files appear correctly in the /data/workspace/skills/google-calendar directory.

After installing and even after several restarts of the OpenClaw service, the assistant tries to use a tool from this skill (for example, google_calendar_list_events).

In response, the system consistently returns the error Tool not found.

What have we already tried to rule out simple solutions?:

We have restarted the OpenClaw gateway several times.

We tried installing different skills (google calendar, caldav calendar), but the problem persists with each of them.

We have successfully completed OAuth2 authentication for Google Calendar, so the problem is not access to external services, but rather registration of an internal tool.

Our hypothesis:

We assume that the problem may be in the configuration of the OpenClaw environment itself on your platform. It is possible that the service responsible for monitoring the /data/workspace/skills folder and dynamically uploading new tools to the assistant's runtime (the so-called "skills watcher") is disabled, is not working correctly, or requires a special configuration.

Our request:

Could you please check the logs of the OpenClaw service for errors during the download/registration of skills? You may need to change the configuration file on your side to enable dynamic loading of tools from the skills we have installed.

Thank you in advance for your help!

With respect,

Nikita Emelin

OpenClaw is just a template you can deploy, Railway itself is a hosting platform.

As there are multiple OpenClaw templates, and I don't know which one you use, you should find the template page and press "get template help" to get help from the template's creator.

You can also read the template description to see if it mentions a manual configuration step that you missed.
