Every time I log in with a VPN or without it, it takes a long time to load, and after the site loads, it only shows: that the site didn’t respond and that the connection is not secure, and I can’t access my account or the site at all - and this has never happened before.

Is this some kind of blockage, or is it Roskomnadzor again?

https://railway.app/ or https://railway.com/project/e4838896-c44f-4813-9460-0718f41a224b/service/c002a8e9-d4c1-497a-a8d5-77c0404f3a62?environmentId=874fef18-85b1-4d7d-a2cd-9ad5d342ef51 I can’t connect specifically to the railway.app domain; I just get an error, and it’s never happened before.

How many browsers have you tried this one, trying different browsers might help.
What region of the world are you in and what VPN do you use, maybe railway blocking those connections
And last but not least does this happen on mobile too? Try a colleagues device and see if theirs work or not
Your other alternative would be to get a vps then install some UI connectivity display and try to use that one

Railway login or connection errors are usually local issues. Fix them quickly by:
Testing in Incognito mode or another browser.
Flushing your DNS cache (ipconfig /flushdns on Windows or dscacheutil -flushcache on Mac).
Switching to a public DNS like Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) or Google (8.8.8.8).
Disabling strict extensions, antiviruses, or VPN conflicts.

Hello! Thanks for the reply.
-
I tried browsers: [please specify which ones, for example, Google Chrome and Firefox].
-
I’m in Russia. I use a VPN: Zapret Discord. Any other free ones available.
-
On my phone and PC, the site doesn’t open with any VPN if I have this account set up, through which I communicate, roughly like this.
-
On another device on the same network, it doesn’t open as I described in point 3.

Root Cause:
Cloudflare and Infrastructure Blocks: Russian ISPs (under Roskomnadzor regulations) heavily restrict or throttle access to Cloudflare and foreign cloud infrastructure (commonly used by SaaS platforms like Railway).
Zapret / DPI Bypass Conflict: Zapret is designed to bypass local DPI blocks (like for Discord or YouTube) using packet fragmentation and SNI modification.
However, these low-level packet manipulations often corrupt standard TLS handshakes for secure cloud applications, causing connection failures or infinite loading loops.Troubleshooting
Steps:
Test Without Zapret/VPN: Temporarily disable Zapret or local bypass tools to see if the connection behavior changes (e.g., revealing a clear block page instead of a silent failure).
Upgrade Your Tooling: Standard browser VPNs or basic DPI bypasses frequently fail on heavy cloud platforms. Switch to a robust private tunnel protocol (such as Shadowsocks, VLESS, or AmneziaVPN) configured with proper obfuscation.
Flush and Change DNS: Clear your local DNS cache (ipconfig /flushdns on Windows) and switch your network DNS to a public resolver like Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) or Google (8.8.8.8).
Browser Isolation: Test in a clean, extension-free browser profile or disable built-in "Secure DNS" (DNS-over-HTTPS) settings that might clash with local proxy routing.
