Hi,
I'd like to transfer a project from another user's Railway account into mine. A couple of questions before I proceed:
Can you confirm the steps for the other user to transfer a project to me? My understanding is they need to add me as a project member first, then use "Transfer Ownership."
Is my current subscription level sufficient for this, or do I need to be on Pro? I want to confirm before we start, so we don't hit a blocker mid-transfer.

hobby is enough, you don't need pro. the requirement is on the receiving side: the destination workspace must have an active hobby or pro subscription, which yours does.
https://docs.railway.com/projects/workspaces
on the steps, transfers are done at the project level rather than by adding you as a member first, the current owner opens the project → Settings → and transfers it to your workspace. worth them checking they can see your workspace as a destination before you both commit to it.
one thing to confirm before you start, so you don't get caught mid-transfer: volumes and any resources tied to a region move with the project, but billing switches to your workspace immediately, so make sure your payment method is set up first.
