I have a project, and I'm currently on a free trial that is expiring. I'm working on this project with a friend who plans on getting the railway plan, but the project is under my ownership, and I'm not getting the plan. I want to transfer ownership to him so he can purchase the plan and keep it under his account, but it won't let me transfer without a plan, is there a workaround for this?

Both the source and destination accounts must have an active Hobby or Pro plan to transfer a project. As a workaround, your friend can subscribe to a plan first, then create a new project in their account and redeploy the services there, or you could briefly subscribe to Hobby to perform the transfer and then cancel afterward.
