Transfering project not working

When i try to transfer ownership of a project to another user i see this error "This project has 1 object storage bucket. Delete it before transferring ownership.". The bucket in the project has been removed already and deleted but i still get the same error.

The project still has a bucket in its deletion window. When a bucket is deleted, it is not immediately destroyed - it stays for roughly two days before being permanently removed, and during that time it still blocks project transfers. The deletion completes around 2026-08-28 at 10:39 UTC, after which the transfer should go through.
