Hello Railway team,

My trial has expired and my service is offline. Iam trying to downgrade my workspace to the free plan, but the downgrade does not work. My billing page shows limited trial workspace and payment method is on file.

Please help me to move the workspace to the free plan so I can redeploy my service.

THank you.

Your trial has ended, so the workspace now has no plan. There isn't a self-serve option to move from here onto the Free plan, and no Free option appearing on the billing page is expected. To get your service running again, subscribe to Hobby ($5/month, which includes $5 of usage) using the "Unlock Hobby plan" button on your billing page, then redeploy.

A correction to our earlier reply: it was wrong. You can move this workspace to the Free plan yourself, but the option is on the Plans page rather than the Billing page. Open https://railway.com/workspace/plans, scroll below the Hobby and Pro cards to "...or downgrade your workspace", and click Downgrade to Free.

Free costs $0/month and includes $1 of usage credit each month. Once you've switched, turn on App Sleeping (serverless) for your service and redeploy it. If the button shows an error, reply here with the exact message.
