I recently discovered Railway through recommendations on YouTube, especially from Brazilian developers. In 2023 and 2024, many of them actively discussed Typebot and how to deploy it on Railway. However, in 2025, there is very little information available about whether Typebot still works properly on Railway.
I decided to try it myself and followed the installation process using the official Typebot Railway template. However, what was supposed to be a quick setup has now taken over 8 hours—even though I am on a paid plan. This is becoming quite frustrating.
The developer behind the Railway setup is Brody, and from what I’ve seen, the template was quite popular in the past. But now I’m wondering:
Is it normal for a Railway deployment to take this long, even on a paid plan?
Are other users experiencing similar issues with Typebot?
Has anything changed recently that affects the installation process?
Are there any optimizations or faster deployment methods available?
I couldn’t find any recent YouTube tutorials or community discussions covering Typebot on Railway in 2025. If anyone has insights, I’d really appreciate the help!

I managed to solve the problem!
On the day I tried to install, the default US West (Oregon, USA) option was extremely slow, but I wasn’t aware of that.
Trying to understand what was causing such a delay, I explored the settings and discovered that I could change the installation instance. I decided to test an alternative and switched to Singapore. The result? The installation was completed in less than 5 minutes, much faster than before!
In summary: the issue was the installation location. Since I didn’t know about this option, it took me a while to realize the cause of the delay. But once I made the change, everything worked smoothly and quickly.
This is a useful tip for anyone facing the same issue: if your Typebot installation is taking too long, try changing the instance location.

Consegui resolver o problema!
No dia em que tentei instalar, a opção padrão US West (Oregon, USA) estava extremamente lenta, mas eu não sabia disso.
Tentando entender o motivo da demora, explorei as configurações e descobri que era possível alterar a localização da instância de instalação. Resolvi testar uma alternativa e mudei para Singapura. O resultado? A instalação foi concluída em menos de 5 minutos, muito mais rápido do que antes!
Resumindo: o problema estava na localização da instalação. Como eu não sabia dessa possibilidade, demorei para perceber a causa, mas depois que fiz a mudança, tudo funcionou rapidamente e sem complicações.
Fica esse aprendizado para quem estiver enfrentando o mesmo problema: se a instalação do Typebot estiver demorando muito, tente mudar a localização da instância.
