@Brody As mentioned, the service does deploy - did you get a chance to review the service link I shared?

I have no doubt it deploys, but that is not exactly what I am asking.
Please work with the community to get the information I have requested in GitHub, so that I can confidently merge this.
Brody - I appreciate your response, but we've already gone through the community route and haven't received any responses yet - https://station.railway.com/questions/test-upgrade-typesense-railway-templat-c4d8f84f
Given we're a paying Railway over ~$250/mo, even after all the outages that have happened, and the fact that this is a Railways-published Typesense template, we were hoping Railway would put in some amount of effort to atleast manage the official version upgrades (official release happened in Jan'26).
This is production service - not a hobby service, and is impacting our customers with Typesense bugs, that are fixed in the latest Typesense version
You've been greatly helpful throughout my time using Railway, even after all screwups by Railway's Infra/Platform teams causing outages.
Would really appreciate if there's some way you could help us with a path forward.

This is not a Railway maintained template and has nothing to do with my employment at Railway.
So you're saying https://github.com/railwayapp-templates is not a official Railway github account? Is someone trying to impersonate Railway?

That's just a repo of templates that team members voluntarily maintain, not an indicator of official Railway support or maintenance commitments. The Typesense template is published under Brody's account and, as he stated in the PR, he doesn't have the cycles to maintain it right now.
You're free to fork the repo and switch service sources to your forked (and updated) repo, and if you give sufficient proof that it still works your changes will get merged (that's how OSS contributions work 😉)
I will be closing this thread as you've already got all the answers you need and since you've also pinged team members multiple times here when you were advised not to, please read the rules at #🛂|readme before opening any other thread.
