Dear Railway Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to report an ongoing issue that I have been experiencing with my database hosted on Railway.

I have a web application built with Next.js, which is deployed on Digital Ocean. The application relies on a MySQL database hosted on Railway. However, I have been encountering intermittent errors with my database connection, specifically receiving the error message "We are unable to connect to the database over the public network."

These connection issues have been occurring repeatedly and are causing disruptions to the functionality of my Next.js application. As a result, my application is unable to load properly, impacting the user experience for my customers.

I kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue as soon as possible. It is imperative that my database connection remains stable to ensure the continued functionality of my application.

If there are any steps that I can take on my end to help diagnose or troubleshoot this issue, please let me know. Additionally, if there are any updates or maintenance activities planned on your end that may be affecting database connectivity, I would appreciate being informed.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this issue.

Hello, I Have te same problem than Jeyson but with postgres. The problem started when I changed the private netoworking domain and create a new public proxy. I created another database service and I don't have problem with this new database….but I don't want to migrate all to this new database.
After changed the domain I can't connect again I don't know if I must waiting some time to this working again.
I attached 2 images, one is with the DB that I have problem and the second image is with the new DB that I created to validate settings but both DB is the same (this working ok but the another has problem).
Please if you could help me.

This means you would have missconfigured something, please attach photos of the broken database's public networking section.
