Hello Railway Support Team,
I hope you’re doing well.
I am currently on the Pro Plan and facing an issue while scaling my service resources.
Earlier, my service was configured with 32 vCPU, and I reduced it to 5 vCPU. However, I am now unable to increase it back to 32 vCPU. The option appears restricted or does not apply successfully.
Here are the details:
- Plan: Pro Plan
- Current Configuration: 5 vCPU
- Required Configuration: 32 vCPU
- Service Status: Active
I have already tried the following:
- Restarting the service
- Redeploying the service
- Checking billing and usage limits
Could you please help me understand:
- Is there any limitation or lock after reducing resources?
- Are there region or capacity constraints affecting this?
- What steps should I follow to increase the CPU back to 32 vCPU?
If needed, I can also provide screenshots or additional details.
Looking forward to your support.

The Pro plan supports a maximum of 24 vCPU and 24 GB memory per replica, so 32 vCPU was never available on this plan. Your workspace is active on the Pro plan with 11 services running normally. The "Replica Limits" setting in your service's Settings > Deploy section controls the maximum CPU and memory per replica, and the highest value selectable on the Pro plan is 24 vCPU. If you need more than 24 vCPU for a single workload, you can either use horizontal scaling with replicas to distribute load across multiple instances, or reach out about our Enterprise plan for higher per-replica limits.
