Hi Railway Support,
I’m trying to pay my outstanding invoice in Railway billing, but my payment keeps getting declined.
I tried:
Adding my credit/debit card (the card has sufficient funds)
Paying via Google Pay as well
Both methods were rejected with a declined payment error.
Could you please help me understand why this is happening and how I can complete the payment? If needed, I can provide additional details about the invoice or payment method.

Is it a virtual card?
No, it’s not a virtual card. It’s a regular bank card with sufficient balance and international online payments enabled.
I also tried Google Pay, but the payment was still declined. Additionally, the payment attempt doesn’t even appear in my bank’s transaction history—there’s no declined charge or any payment attempt showing at all. Could you please check what might be causing this?

You’d need to contact your bank about this. Seems like it’s an issue between Stripe and your bank.

The issue is that no payment authorization attempt appears in my bank transaction history at all — not even as a declined transaction — and no 3D Secure verification is triggered.
Because of that, it seems the payment request may not be reaching the bank in the first place. Could you please confirm whether Stripe is rejecting or blocking the payment before the authorization request is sent to the bank? Any specific error code from Stripe would be very helpful.

That's an issue on your end with your card issuer.
I’m trying to make an online international payment through Stripe (for Railway), but the payment keeps failing with a generic_decline.
The card has sufficient balance, international online payments are enabled, and 3D Secure is supported. However, no 3D Secure prompt appears and I do not see any authorization or declined transaction in my banking app.
