Problem
I handed over my previous Railway account (which has a live deployed project) to a client by connecting their GitHub account (itech-caseos) and disconnecting mine (nbd-jmvromero). Now, when I try to sign in or sign up on Railway using nbd-jmvromero, I am blocked by an authentication error saying it is still tied to itech-caseos. Because new sign-ups are currently disabled, I also cannot create a new account via email first and link my GitHub afterward.
Please completely unlink nbd-jmvromero from the itech-caseos Railway account on the backend (without disrupting the client's live project on itech-caseos) so I can use nbd-jmvromero on my own Railway account.
Details & Error
Affected GitHub account: nbd-jmvromero
Previous Railway account's current GitHub: itech-caseos
Timestamp: 2026-10-29 (~19:48 UTC+8)
Exact error when logging in with GitHub (nbd-jmvromero):
Error authenticating with GitHub
This GitHub account was connected to a Railway account that now uses a different GitHub account (itech-caseos). Sign in with that GitHub account or with your email, then reconnect this one from your account settings.

We can't unlink or reassign a GitHub login from our side. Changing which identity an account signs in with is a security boundary that protects every account, including your client's, so support can't edit it on request.
The error you're seeing means nbd-jmvromero is still recorded against the account that now signs in with itech-caseos. Any change to that link has to be made from inside that account, through its account settings, by someone who can sign in to it.
New sign-ups are also paused at the moment while we focus on reliability for existing customers (status update), so a new account can't be created yet. We don't have a date for when sign-ups reopen.

Signups have reopened, and new users must upgrade to a paid account to use Railway. The GitHub account-linking error is separate, so reopening signups does not confirm that link has been cleared. We can't unlink or reassign the GitHub login from support. Any change must be made from within the account that currently holds the connection, by someone who can sign in to it.
