Unable to switch off auto-deploy

I have disconnected my github from railway to avoid auto-deploy, but somehow its still going ahead and deploying everytime i push to main on github. what am i missing?

Disconnecting your GitHub account is not how you disable auto-deploy. Instead, go to your service's Settings, find the "Deploy" section, and click Disable next to the autodeploy toggle - this stops new commits from triggering deployments while keeping the repo connected.
