Unable to transfer project ownership from hobby plan to pro plan

I am on a hobby plan currently and trying to transfer ownership of one of my projects to my partner who is on a pro plan. When I try to transfer the project, I get the following error popup in the UI:

"Failed to initiate transfer. We were unable to initiate your project transfer. Please contact support if this error persists."

When I inspect the request, I see the error from the server is "Please ask the new owner to upgrade to the Hobby Plan to transfer your project to their account.".

do they have an unpaid invoice?

I can ask, but I'd doubt it since I had to ask her to upgrade the account after seeing the error message.

then that error message likely means their personal account is still a trial, even though they have a pro workspace

Yep that was the issue. I was added to the workspace and was able to transfer no problem. Thanks for your help
