Hi Railway team,
I'm experiencing an issue setting up a custom domain for my Railway-hosted backend app. I’ve added api.devlinks.info as a CNAME pointing to cdjqwymi.up.railway.app using Netlify’s DNS (my domain is managed via Netlify DNS, purchased through Namecheap). The domain has been added in Railway's custom domain settings, but it keeps switching between “Validating domain ownership” and “Waiting for DNS update.”
Here’s what I’ve confirmed so far:
No conflicting A/AAAA records for
api.devlinks.infoA valid CNAME exists:
api.devlinks.info → cdjqwymi.up.railway.appDNS propagation appears incomplete when checked via dnschecker.org
Domain name is entered correctly in Railway's settings
Root domain (
devlinks.info) has no other configuration issues
Despite all this, the domain validation doesn’t complete. I would appreciate any assistance in getting this domain verified successfully.
Thanks in advance!

Does Netlify support root-level CNAMEs?
