Hi, since yesterday I haven't been able to configure a custom domain. I checked https://www.whatsmydns.net/ and everything seems OK, but the application settings say: Waiting for DNS update... and the application displays: net::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALIDPinned Solution

Excuse me, but I don't understand your response. Why aren't private messages being answered? I don't quite understand about the reward. Can you continue the conversation in the private thread?5 months ago
Have you tried using Cloudflare's DNS service if you aren't on it yet?
Also, if you wish to use your root domain, you'd need to add both @ and www records in Railway and your DNS provider.

I always used the Railway application settings, but since yesterday I haven't been able to get it to work as it always has. It gets stuck on the message: "Waiting for DNS update..." and the custom domain isn't working; the application says: "ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID". It never delivers the updated DNS; it's been like this for over 20 hours. Note: Regions & Replicas US East (virginia, USA)Attachments

Would you be willing to share the custom domain that's being set? It might make troubleshooting a bit easier.
Anyhow, what I'd try is removing the record from Railway AND your DNS provider, and readding them.

I already tried deleting the custom domain and recreating it, I also deleted the CNAME and recreated everything, but it always gets stuck on: "Waiting for DNS update..."5 months ago
I've never added anything else to the settings; I've always done it using the CNAME record for the main domain. In the hosting CNAME manager, I enter the address that Railway provides and then wait for the DNS to propagate. I've never used TXT files; can you explain more about TXT files?bpsystem

There’s a TXT record you need to add for Railway to verify the domain.

Where is it added? And what is added?5 months ago
When you click "add custom domain" and input your domain in Railway, did it prompt you to add a TXT record after?

Another question: what is this $20? Where do I pay it?

And who does the railway pay for it?5 months ago

If you solved using another help link and by yourself I don't think you have to pay the bounty.

I have no idea what a reward is; I've never used it before and I'm new to this. I just posted the answer that helped me solve the problem after many hours of research and searching for information.Status changed to Solved brody • 5 months ago
