I have a project one of my client so I was working on hobby plan with free $5 for development now free trail is end now I want to upgrade on the pro plan therefore I want to add my client as a member with editor permission.
my question is, can I then update my client editor to owner then he can make the payment?

Absolutely, first you would need to be a Pro account, then when you are ready you can add your client to the team workspace as an Admin, and once they are Admin they can update the billing.

Thank you brody for your response. As I said I'm the developer for the project therefore I don't to pay with my credentials so I was wondering if I could add my client before upgrading to pro plan then he could upgrade to the pro plan with his payment credentials.

That is unfortunately not possible, but what you could do instead is have them purchase pro plan and add you as an admin, that way you skip having to transfer ownership
