Updating Clawdbot

I'm still on the OpenClaw 2026.3.8 version running on Railway. I went to update using "railway ssh -- COREPACK_ENABLE_DOWNLOAD_PROMPT=0 openclaw update" and it looks like it did it, on the setup page, it showed the latest version initially, but I couldn't actually access OC, I kept getting connection errors because my Railway disk was full from the update. I cleaned things up and redeployed, but it was then back to the old 3.8 version.

How do we update to the latest version properly?

Are you using any template to host it? Or your own GitHub repo?

In case of using template, check whether the template's underlying repo is updated. If updated, go to your service's network page and click on "check for updates" and update the service.

If you are using your own GitHub repo, make sure you update the repo with latest OC version and then follow the same steps as above.

If you are not sure, you can't share your service's settings page screenshot, and I can help you with next steps.

Yeah, I am using the following template that I started with: vignesh07/clawdbot-railway-template

It has not been updated is the problem.

Well...never mind, I will be deleting this as I just got it to work by doing another OC update. The last time it filled up my Railway disk and crashed everything, so I had to reset everything and remove a bunch of files. It didn't work a second time I tried...but then it did the third time. No idea why, but I'll just happily take the W. Thanks.
