Hi there,
We currently subscribe to Hobby and are considering to upgrade to Pro. Has anybody done that before? Is it easy and seamless to deploy multiple sites under the Pro plan?
Thanks!

You can upgrade from Hobby to Pro at any time from your workspace billing settings, and the upgrade takes effect immediately. Pro gives you significantly higher resource limits, team collaboration features, $20 of included usage per month, and the ability to deploy multiple services and projects within your workspace. For full plan details, see our pricing page.

Thank you. That's very good to hear. May I ask if it is possible to get a trial for the Pro plan? As we aren't sure if that will meet our needs. Also, how is the $20 monthly usage credit calculated? Thanks.

We don't offer a trial for the Pro plan, but you can upgrade and downgrade at any time from your workspace billing settings. The $20 monthly subscription fee doubles as an included usage credit: your resource costs (CPU, RAM, network egress, and volume storage, all billed per minute) are offset by that $20, so if your total usage stays at or below $20 you only pay the subscription fee, and if it exceeds $20 you pay only the difference on top. The credit resets each billing cycle and does not roll over.

Thanks. Is there a way to monitor our resource costs per month to keep track of our usage credit?

Yes, you can view your resource costs on the Usage page in your workspace settings. It shows a breakdown of costs by project and service. You can also set a custom email alert to notify you when usage reaches a certain amount, and a hard limit to automatically stop workloads if usage exceeds a threshold you define.

Thanks. Our billing cycle for the Hobby subscription plan is around 15th of each month. If we switch to Pro plan, will our current invoice be prorated? Or would it be better if we switch to Pro on the 15th of this month?

When you upgrade from Hobby to Pro, the subscription change is prorated. Your current Hobby billing period will be credited for the remaining unused days, and the Pro subscription will be charged for the remainder of that cycle. You can upgrade at any time and don't need to wait until the 15th.
