Hi Railway team,
I accidentally ran prisma migrate reset from a different project on my production MySQL database approximately 15 minutes ago (around 3:50 PM UTC-5 on January 2nd, 2026).
This command wiped all data from the database. This was a critical production database with real user data.
Project details:
- Project name: BLANNI DB
- Environment: production
- Database: MySQL
- Project ID (from URL): 47282698-be54-4866-ab95-9f137b93825d
I'm on the free tier so I don't have access to automatic backups. However, I'm hoping Railway may have internal snapshots or any disaster recovery options that could help restore the data.
Is there ANY possibility to recover the database state from before the reset?
I understand this may not be possible, but I would greatly appreciate any help.
Thank you for your time.

Hello,
I'm really sorry, but we're unable to recover data deleted by users.
We don't maintain internal snapshots or disaster recovery backups that we can restore from in situations like this; the data would only be recoverable if you had set up your own off-site backups.
I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for, and I'm sorry we can't be of more help here.
Best,
Brody
