hi i need help with a trial/credits issue.
account credits: $24.49
workspace status: trial ended (dashboard prompts upgrade)
questions:
can the $24.49 railway credits be applied to resume services without upgrading the workspace?
if not, is there any short-term exception or grace period so i can either upgrade or migrate?

you'd need to upgrade - although I believe the credits stay meaning after the initial upgrade the credits can be used to keep your plan going for a while since Railway will use credits for payments first
unfortunately not, but upgrading is pretty much instantaneous
not yet i haven't upgraded. i will if the credits will be used automatically. can you confirm that after i upgrade my $24.49 credits will be applied to billing first and that i only need to restart/redeploy my projects afterward to get services running again?

Credits cannot be applied to the initial subscription cost, but as long as those credits are not trial credits, they should stick around after you upgrade. I’m not sure what happens to trial specific credits, there’s a possibility they don’t carry over.

When I upgraded to Hobby plan, my Railway credits got deducted after putting in the Card Details.
Did you upgrade from Trial to Hobby plan for the first time?
And after entering your card details, you are saying that your credits were used rather than the money via the credit card, right?
