URGENT] PostgreSQL down – I/O error: "pg_filenode.map" cannot be opened

Hi team, I'm currently facing a critical issue with my PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. My application (built using Typebot and deployed via GitHub + Cloudflare + Railway) is completely down due to the following error:

From what I understand, this indicates an I/O issue on the database's disk, possibly related to file system corruption or disk access failure on Railway's infrastructure.

This database is essential for my chatbot flow built with Typebot, and right now it is non-functional because the database cannot be queried. I’ve confirmed that the environment variables and deployment settings are all correct — the issue seems to be 100% infrastructure-related.

Could someone from the team please assist me in resolving this ASAP? If possible, I’d like to know:

  • Whether it’s recoverable.

  • If I need to restore from backup.

  • If I should migrate to a new PostgreSQL instance and redirect traffic.

Thanks in advance for your help — this is urgent for us.

Just to make sure, your service's disk space is not full, correct?

Hello,

A simple redeploy was all that was needed!

You are back online.
