Is anyone else seeing Railpack builds fail today during the mise tool installation step?
We’re getting consistent failures across all environments (prod/staging/dev/test) with no code changes.
Error snippet:
load build definition from railpack-plan.json
mise install-into caddy@2.10.2 /railpack/caddy
mise ERROR HTTP status client error (400 Bad Request)
https://mise-versions.jdx.dev/aqua-registry/caddyserver/caddy/registry.yaml
Notes:
Failure happens before app build starts
Reproducible across multiple services
Node install via
misesucceedsFailure seems isolated to Caddy via Aqua registry
Looks like an upstream registry / builder issue rather than app config
Questions:
Is this a known issue with
mise+ Aqua registry today?Any way to temporarily disable/bypass Caddy installation in Railpack?
Is there a recommended workaround short of switching to a Dockerfile?
We are unsure what to do. Please help!
Thanks!

Hi, we've pushed out a fix and are seeing recovery.
Please let us know if you're still running into this issue!
We have plans to improve the way our builders fetch packages to prevent these changes affecting railway in the future.
Best,
Nico
