Urgent: Where to purchase Railway Credit?

Hey,

I’m trying to purchase more credits, but I don’t see the option under "Usage" like I used to before upgrading to the Hobby plan. Previous reference checked https://discord.com/channels/713503345364697088/1296417916211691641

Does increasing the spending limit automatically add more "credits available"? If not, how can I manually purchase credits?

Would really appreciate any help—thanks!

When you upgrade to the Hobby plan, its most likely that you're now on the "Usage-based subscription" instead of the "Credit-based subscription". This means that instead of requiring a balance of credits sufficient for your usage, you're instead charged at the end of the month to your payment method for any incurred charges, minus any "credits".

ok that helps - can I get any form of assurance from the team that my instance will not be blocked when my instance uses $ 5?

Making sure as my system is onboarding 5+ corporate clients next week. I can't afford for system to go down

The $5 available credit you see there is a part of the Hobby plan, giving you a $5 "discount" for paying the monthly fee. Unless you incur over $5 of usage, that's all you'll be charged. If you incur $25 of usage, you'll then pay $25 for example, offsetting the Hobby plan cost.

I've had my workspace on the same plan since the new pricing models were released and I've never had an issue. When you reach the end of your billing period, you'll receive an invoice or have payment due which should automatically charge your payment method. Even if its unsuccessful, you should get an email and there is a gap of time allowing you to fix anything or get in contact with the team before any services are suspended, worst case.
